Team Detroit / Ford Focus EV "Plugged In"

We partnered with Team Detroit and Yahoo to create this compelling integrated, rich-media campaign for the Ford Focus Electric Vehicle.
The Ford "Plugged In" campaign featured ten celebrities in ten cities guiding contestants through an urban adventure across America. Three local teams of two explored the home town’s of their favorite celebrities. Using the celebs as guides the teams competed in different challenges for a chance to win a new Ford Focus EV.
The campaign featured an expandable, page takeover experience on Yahoo.com. User’s were greeted with a comprehensive, butterfly animation on page load that resolved to a landing page featuring celebrity videos, interactive "home town" map, and 360 vehicle features demo. The rich-media unit, video components, and interactive landing page were all built for Yahoo’s video player and ad serving platform.
The initiative required a collaborative effort with our motion design and interactive teams working hand-in-hand with Team Detroit and Yahoo. Team Detroit provided creative strategy, video production, graphic design and overall engagement management, while Yahoo pitched-in for platform integration and overall technical direction.
